Virgin America to file Today 1/19/06

0801: CNBC reports Virgin America will file its paperwork to begin flying NYC - SFO today.

It was unclear as to the airport, however, this is the first flight segment. It appears there is another threat to LCC on the horizon. This appears to be a huge threat to JetBlue as well.

How it it a threat to LCC... we don't fly SFO-JFK?

LCC does not have much of a presence at JFK or SFO to really have Virgin America affect them. Now B6 could fire a shot pretty quickly and add that route. just my thoughts......
