Going way back, one of the most impressionable ad campaigns I remember as a kid was the Northeast Airlines "Yellowbird" motif.
The aircraft were painted white with a sweep of yellow that rose from the belly up over the aft cabin and tail.
Of course, they used an instrumental version of the song "Yellow Bird" underneath the voice-over on the commercials.
They also had a guy named Jim Dooley (I think he may have been a TV weatherman in New York, but I'm not sure) standing on the beach in Florida surrounded by bikinied young ladies, beckoning you with a wave of his hand to "Come on down, on a Northeast Yellowbird!"
And, of course, they ran these ads when your car was out in the driveway covered with snow.
