A war with Iraq is very likely in the coming few days. What will be the impact to AA? Can we come out stronger? Will this mean chapter 11 or 7?
Whatever happens in Baghdad, WAR is already being felt in the US airline industry. The start of the "WAR" is what brings light to the end of the tunnel. WE are waiting for this "WAR" to come while we are bleeding to death. Its time to stop the bleeding by starting the "main event". If Goerge Bush, 43rd President, is going to do it then "just" do it and lets move on.

Some famous Clinton quotes:

"I think the IRS functions better today than it did 5 years ago." Bill Clinton, 9/30/97. Reported on CNN

(Translation: 'Five years ago I couldn't pick up the phone and have Paula Jones audited.')

This was around the time Congress was conducting hearings on IRS abuses. Originally, Clinton and Rubin defended the IRS and its practices, and later they became critics. It was a little like transportation secretary Frederico Pena's comment after the Value Jet Everglades crash calling them "totally safe," also responding "Oh yes, I fly them all the time." Three days later he shut down the company, citing it had the worst safety record in the industry.

"You can't say you love your country and hate your government." - Bill Clinton, 1995 (After the OKC bombing)

"A lot of wonderful people love their country and hate the military." - Bill Clinton, 1969 (Letter to the National Guard)
"The other thing we have to do is to take seriously the role in this problem of...older men who prey on underage women...There are consequences to decisions and...one way or the other, people always wind up being held accountable." Bill Clinton, June 13, 1996, in a speech endorsing a national effort against teen pregnancy.
Unless the person is an Intern, of course...
Quote from transcript on allpolitics.com - Speech given by President Bill Clinton at a church on Martha's Vineyard, Aug 28, 1998 - Anniversary of March on Washington
"And so, it is important that we are able to forgive those we believe have wronged us even as we ask for forgiveness from people we have wronged. And I heard that first -- first in the civil rights movement. Love thy neighbor as thyself."

Bill Clinton We can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans...

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly.... there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there's too much freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it.

Bill Clinton The road to tyranny, we must never forget, begins with the destruction of the truth.
