According to the inspectors here, since head lights have been deregulated, there are no longer illegal. So, keep trying. You might hit something eventually.
Hate to burst your bubble Ace...but its a Fed rule...any change from original is a Federal violation...
If it meets FMVSS....its legal,if not...you're wrong.

I'm not wrong about anything. I asked the inspector and he said they were cool. Police have never said anything, car has been inspected once a year (car is over 15 years old) and I have not had a problem. So, if you have an issue, feel free to take it up with the inspectors here in TX.
Not sure if they are DOT. I believe they are but the lenses I have on them now are after market since the OEMs were damaged from road debris. My lights us the same bulb and similar lens as my wifes car that is a little newer than mine and hers are OEM. The tail lights are illegal because they are not DOT (smoked lenses) but I have LEDs in them now so they are as bright as they were originally (perhaps a bit brighter even) so they are safer than the OEM's
BTW, why the hell are we even talking about this? Who cares if the lights are legal or not?

I personally think he is'nt bluffing when it comes to Israel, however I think he is bluffing when it comes to his stated Nuclear goals.

If he is bluffing, then why send in the fleet. It’s a waste of money, and if you remember the Falkin battle, the British lst a multi million dollar ship to a $6k missile. If he is not bluffing, sending in the fleet will do nothing, because as you indicated, he is nuts and will not be swayed by rational thought. Seems we are playing into his hands. He is viewed by his supporters as someone who is standing up to the west (that would be us) and by us moving our fleet, it supports his stand in his supporters eyes. Those who may be on the fence as to whether or not they support him might be swayed by our presence and view it as a valid threat. You’re not calling a bluff. This is more like tossing a coin and seeing what happens. We have not got a clue what goes on in that twists head.
BTW, do you want him to prove what he says? I sure as hell don't.
Unless the US plans on invading and occupying Iran, the current path of Cheney & Co. is just as doomed as his first attempt at world domination with Iraq. I have not heard a single military commander or anyone else for that matter indicate that a conflict with Iran will have anything but a bad bad out come. We are already extending tours due to lack of replacement man power. And now you want to put a second front on the armed forces plate? Hitler tried that and fortunately it was his down fall. One would hope people would learn from history.
