Wells Fargo: AAdvantage Miles for New Mortgages

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jul 3, 2003 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Getting a home mortgage is one of the biggest financial steps many people take, and a new agreement between American Airlines and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is making it more rewarding for American Airlines AAdvantage members.
Now, when using the Wells Fargo First Class Home Financing program, AAdvantage members receive 1,000 AAdvantage miles for every $10,000 of loan amount on a new purchase or refinance, with no limit on the number of miles that can be earned. This program is effective on applications taken on or after June 2nd, 2003, and cannot be combined with any existing Wells Fargo Home Mortgage incentive programs. In addition to mortgage miles, Wells Fargo, in conjunction with American Airlines, plans to provide miles for home equity loans in the coming months.
Working with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will give AAdvantage members another creative way to earn a large amount of miles on one of the most important purchases they make, said Ed French, president of AAdvantage marketing for American Airlines. Wells Fargo offers a premium level of service, and as the largest retail lender in the country, members will be able to find a mortgage that''s right for them.
Wells Fargo Home Mortgage provides one of the widest varieties of mortgage products in the industry, including fixed and adjustable rate loans, jumbo loans, new construction financing, interest-only options and financing for residential investment and vacation properties.
