I think IO's vocabulary word of the day was "conjecture" god if i read that word one more time!?!?!! Anyway IO, you think UA is bad? HAHA! come on over to US! We can show you bitter and rude...... US new slogan "The consession stand is closed for the season, bring your own drinks!" and we are much more bitter than any bier von Interflug! Lets laugh guys! Did anyone read IO's post on JetBlue about their wonderful service? Me either.. couldn't find it.. Always amazes me how people always take the time to b@#$# but never take to time to say thanks for getting me here safe. SPeaking of safety do PAX even care anymore? or is it always about the inflight service or lack there of??????? Where are the vaules anymore??? IO let me know how many miles it takes to upgrade into FC- or how their "Blue" Carpet Club is over at JetBLue, just curious....

I was under the impression that you worked for PSA, not US Airways? I'm sure you'll agree that there would be no "bitterness" had nearly 50% of the company not been laid off and replaced with poverty level express jobs, and the remaining jobs have the pensions, benefits and wages they worked for decades for taken from them. Do you know what "the concession stand" even is? Clue- nothing to do with beverages.

You are not being serious about thinking my post was serious?!?! It was a complete spoof- i guess you didn't see the joke in "concessions". CCY has been home for quite some time here 😉 so i know what its all about.....thats why i said come on guys lets laugh!

I see you are trying to drive your point home that you are a "former 1K" by choice (or maybe it wasn't by choice). I am truly sorry that you feel that you had to take this action. Needless to say, United has a lot of happy and very understanding 1K's who play by the rules and realize that there are times when things don't run very smoothly, especially during bad weather and cancelled flights due to mechanical. They don't turn heels and run to another company.

Your reaction on this board to United employees is overblown to say the least. It wouldn't be the first time in your life that you have encountered rudeness and it won't be the last. If United employees have been rude to you, I am sorry. I am also sorry that you feel it necessary to blame all United employees for the rudeness of a few in a public forum. Your time would be better spent if you looked for the good in people, rather than the bad. Hmmmmm..........

There was nothing typical about my response to your post, it was not intended to be rude!!

After several years of bad service from United, and its employees, starting with the summer from H*ll,

I decided to take my substantial business and move it to another airline, where, if not perfect, at least, I am treated with a modicum of respect. So, therefore, it was MY choice to leave United.

So here's the real reason, the Summer from Hell! FYI, the frontline employees from Customer Service Agents, Ticketing Agents and Reservations Agents did not ask for the Summer from Hell, but had to suffer through it. I am truly sorry it happened and you were caught in the middle of it. I understand and respect your decision. However many of our customers are returning to a newly restructured and better business model under competent leadership. You will note that United is either No. 1 or 2 for the past several months in on time performance with the DOT.

There is no indication in any of my posts that I do not play "by the rules." (No where in my post did I say that you did not "play by the rules").

You seem intent on trying to make a claim that I was somehow cast off by United. Nothng can be further from the truth. (Not true, I simply did not know whether it was your choice or otherwise and you have cleared that up.) No insult intended here. My apologies.

If you think UA can continue to alienate 1Ks, and still remain in business, think again. And if you think your rudeness and vain attempts to assess blame on the customer are somehow limited to you, guess again, as well

I certainly don't know where your thinking is coming from. If you read through my post I said "I'm sorry" at least three times. Two of them are below.

I am truly sorry that you feel that you had to take this action.

If United employees have been rude to you, I am sorry.

I think you are wasting your time trying to win this former 1k back to Ual.
Nothing is what it seems to appear on this thread sometimes. This guy has a bent towards Ual or he wouldn't be signing former 1k.

If he was telling us how to fix the company I would think better of his posts.

With no idenity everyone here could be anything they want.
I just filed him under A. There are a lot of these files there.

Thanks for your efforts. You take the high road, but I am just too cynical.
 
Former 1K...hmmmmmm. Sure spent a lot of time and money on something he completely hated, didn't he?
