U also filed for DCA to SAV and MGM a few months ago. Those are for slot exemptions. There is no guarantee either airline will recieve them.

This is just an application to get a hold of HP''s slots that are coming from the closure of the CMH "hub". HP flew 3x daily CMH-DCA...however with the closure of the CMH hub they can no longer use the slots.
DL is just trying to get the slots. I don''t think DL or US will get them. I think there''s a good chance all six slots will go to Airtran who has already applied for them as well.
