Where does the crew stay?

Hotels, mostly.

I doubt anyone is going to post the names of the hotels here in a public forum.

Dan, you're way to funny 🙂 In all honesty as the other poster said no one is going to post this on a public forum.

You are absolutely right Harry......they dont tell anything about where they stay....Security is of upmost safety to our great Pilots and Flight Attendants...

Dan

A lot of people still think that airline people know all the best, least-expensive places to stay. Little do they know that the airline crews have little to no input as to which hotel is used for their layover. If US Airways is anything like AA, the primary concerrn to the company is "Can we get the rooms for $2/night less than the Motel 6?" The main selection criteria is cheapness--mind you, I did not say least-expensive--cheap.

I think I saw your picture on facebook....Buena Vista high school?

You could do what I have done on a few occasions when stuck unplanned at an airport and just follow crews and get on the shuttle they get on. I did that at the double tree in Houston and told the clerk I was a stranded passanger and they gave me a room for $40 bucks!

well i just wanted to know so when i go somewhere for the night i can go there and get a good rate

Well, if you are a current US Airways employee, you may be able to ask someone in human resources for a list of hotels that have negotiated rates for US Airways crew and displaced customers. There are at least 5 or so of these hotels in each major city where US Airways flies into. There used to be a company hotel list available on TheHub/Wings, but I am not sure if it still exists since America West took over the content of the employee intranet.

This may or may not be true, but I sure hope the company is wise enough to not make public the hotels where we overnight. And I'm really not sure how wise it is post this kind of information on an internet website when none of us has any idea who may reading the info. It's about security. When we fly to London, we overnight somewhere in England. In Paris it's somewhere in France and so on. Airline folks sure love to talk!

Yea....I think your looking for something or is it someone? Your probably the short, fat bald guy with Coke bottle glasses that slithers around the Sheridan in Phildelphia, arn't you? Well, heres how to find out where crews stay. Go into WWW.bedbugs.com and the hotel with the highest concentration of bed bugs is where you will find the fllight crews.

Now That is FUNNY!!! ( The Bed BUG thing! ) Not one person in their right mind would ever post a list of hotels. I for one know one of our own f/a's who was murdered on her overnight in DTW many years ago. So... not one person would ever tell this information.
