With A Flunky Judge Like This...

Just like the order Air Canada had?

With the B400/B777 and B767 fleet I think UA is positioned OK for now (until they are repo'ed for NON PAYMENT).  After exit thirteeen extentions (and counting) could be an order for new airframes but who knows.  You guys have been behind the power curve for a 767 sized ( you mean SEIZED) airplanes for many years (like UA's repo'ed)  and will still be behind for a few more years to come 9 (THANK GOD).  Of course you could probably find some ratty old DC9's 9 (something UA should have tried vs. stealing product and services from vendors whom they can't pay...gotta try to pay for airplanes ) to do an extreme makeover to and attempt to compete with those airframes.

Looks like somebody needs some more cashola. But that's ok...they have more important things to worry about like the direction of Northwest's new logo.(http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/050627/united_airlines_debt.html?.v=3) 😉

Sorry, an analogy of the NWA paint scheme and the American flag is not even close, but nice try. I suppose using your logic the Knockwurst name should be spelled backwards on one side of the plane also? <_<

I think you know what Iam trying to say. Except for wording, most decals are like that. Take a look at your own aircraft. Does it have a flag on both sides? If they do, and Iam sure they do, what you see is a flip flop. What you say is an analogy, I guess, comes into play. Looking right and looking left is just different. No need to get all uptight over a decal. I think there are more serious things to talk about. Like the new bk law, that prevents people like you and I from taking advantage of the bk courts like UAL and other Corp. 3 years in BK court? Cmon.

Those ratty old DC-9's are one reason we're not sitting in BK. We own them outright and have used them to our advantage. Unlike UA which is probably
still paying for those 767's and probably have'nt even began paying for the 777's "Oh" scratch that, you guys are'nt paying for anything, and have'nt for nearly 3 yrs!

After exit?? You guys don't even have an exit plan! You'd better keep an eye on those aircraft you mention because the Repo man might be out there looking to take them away.

With the 747-400's, A330's, and DC10's-(another aircraft type that we own outright) NW is positioned OK for now. (Out of BK) 😉 😉 😉

That really is a good indication as to how little you actually know about the Bk laws. Keep believing the myth. Just hope that when the scabs start flying your trips you stay focused on UA and not on NWA.

By the way, what you going to do? Going to honor the picket lines? Will ALPA support the other employee groups and walk also? Or do they have no-support clauses? Will NWA shutter the doors when no one shows up for work or will the SCABS keep it flying? Will you guys CAVE into the the demands of mgmnt? Please don't say you are willing to negotiate away hard earned benefits and pay? From what you guys have said about the UA folks I suspect you are people of your word and "NO" is the only answer you will give the company, right? No concessions, No changes. That is what you have been preaching for quie some time. Time for you guys to put up or shut up.

Mag:'Time for you guys to put up or shut up. "

You mean like your BANKRUPTCY PLAN?

Bankruptcy is to provide a comapany an opportunity to reorganize. When a company has been in BK for going on 3 years and STILL loses money...well...I am sure they will survive outside of BK......for about 6 months.

Put up or shut up? WHAT on GOD's green earth would you know about that. THE ONLY group on that WHOLE PROPERTY that has the guts to fight are the FLIGHT ATTENDANTS and MECHANICS!

But for you it's all about the "egg from the golden goose"

How's the FLUNKY JUDGE these days? His extention days are over in Sept. creditor backlash is building...guess it's time to have to make it or hit the history books.

Now back to worrying about more important things like the direction of NWA's beautiful new logo. I know you love...go ahead admit it. Glad it's on your mind. Do you dream about? Do you stare at it at the airport? Glad to hear it is such a center of discussion...

NBNW,

Sorry I don't dream about your logo or do I try to think about the US equivilant to Aeroflot but I do tend to spend some time looking at those god awful airplanes. Generally at ORD when taxiing around you might get a chance to admire the fine 1968 vintage DC9's that tend to be there. Saw one in the penalty box by 32R the other day and noticed the logo issue. That is pretty much it. Just think it looks ridiculous but you seem to like it so good on ya'.

Put up or shut up. NBNW, you seem to have the market cornered on what all the other airline employees should or should not have done in the past few years. Just believe you are going to be given an opportunity in the next few months to put your money where your mouth/ego is. You can set the example for the industry. You can be the one to shut down NW and let the world hear how you will not give a dime. I encourage you to do it. Show the world you have the courage of your convictions. Also, I would hope that as soon as NW enters CH11 you exit the company. I know you would never continue to be employed at a company that would stoop to such an event.

Cheers.

Aeroflot....

Is Aeroflot BANKRUPT and STEALING from VENDORS and EMPLOYEES? Is Aeroflot the WELFARE pathetic Industry cancer that pertends it is something other than a JOKE?

I think Aeroflot is a working airline....thank you for the compliment. Too bad United can't be compared to anything but a failed scrap piece still living in the past.

You sure do spend a lot of time worrying about our logo "not to think about it much". (snicker)

"You can set the example for the industry. You can be the one to shut down NW and let the world hear how you will not give a dime" How much was it you USED to be paid during the summer of 2000? What is the nick name the other UAL employees gave the summer of 2000?

Did you look at those vintage DC-9's and long for a lease bill that said PAID?

Did ya wonder when the next set of CREDITORS would reclaim THEIR (Ual doesn't own any do they) aircraft...the ones you are using till they are REPOCESSED? Pretty sight those 9's must of been to your sad BANKRUPT eyes...

Are all these "owned" airplanes collateralized for cash given to UA in the past? NW's DC-9s are an advantage to NW. Why? Because even though they consume relatively more fuel (old technology), they are paid for (and I don't believe they are collateralized because they don't have that much market value) and since they are paid for NW can ground them in a cost effective manner. Grounding airplanes is a real possibility with oil over $60 a barel.

B) Dear North By North West (or Northeast which is who the symbol appears on one side of your airplane's your tail). It seems as though NWA is now on the verge of BK. I hope that you guys can stay out. If NWA does declare I also hope that you advocate the immediate liquidation of the company, as you don't seem to be of the opinion that BK is designed to help a company. We'll see your posts when and if NWA declares. You should worry about your own company, who has by the way been on the BK courthouse steps (1992) instead of trashing UAL.

NW may have been on the steps of the BK courthouse, but certainly have not taken up residency inside for nearly 3 yrs <_< <_< <_<
