<_< I was reading in the KC Star that a couple of High placed Missouri Senitors, in key positions, may not be as receptive to aa's position on the up and coming battle over the Wright amendment, with Southwest, as aa would like! Something to do with the way aa handled the TWA employee feascal in St. Louis, and Kansas City! My, Oh my! What's the old saying? Oh yea! "What go'es arround, comes arround!" Should get interesting!!!!😛

Probably because AA management and the nAAtives did not drop to their Knees and kiss the TWAers a$$. With other airlines closing hubs, closing maintanence bases, laying off people and cutting pay, AA should have kept it's weakest hub (STL) open and it's oldest mx base (MCI) fully staffed just to make the TWAers happy. If the Senators from Missouri hate AA that much, then AA shoud completely debhub STL and permantely close MCI. Yes, it would serve AA well to take the planes they are using in STL and move them to Love field.

AA won't do it - It's nothing but an idle threat. They don't have the cash or the manpower to pull it off.

I agree that AA probably won't do it, but you are mistaken if you think AA could not do it.

With over $3 billion of unrestricted cash, AA could easily move some MD-80s into DAL if it wanted to act stupidly. But like I said, AA probably wouldn't do it.

Bu-Bu- But. Nothing has happened yet. Is AA goin to go out of business if or when this happens?
If bought out then AAers should accept their place on the bottom of wn's seniority list just like the other losers uh uh I mean failed carriers. 🙄  😉 B)

Should really stop celebrating possibilities. I think the two great airlines party should have clued you in to that.

They celebrate anything bad happening to AA because of the arbitrator's ruling.

How about if we fly a few 777's in and out of Love for a week or two. That would shut that idea down real quick. I don;t think the locals would take to kindly to that kind of racket.

I for one hope the Wright stays. It never should have been passed in the first place but now that it is here, it should stay. WN owes it's existence to Wright. Now they want to repeal it. Can's have it both ways. If they want long haul, there are a few open gates that DL vacated.

No its not, we would lose hundreds of millions of dollars, get our ass kicked all over the place and be forced to file for BK. In return, AA would get more concessions, dump the pension and laugh all the way to the bank. These are the kind of decisions that have made our manAAgement team the cutting edge type that they are.  😛 😛

I know, enough with the blAAck helicopters theory. 😛h34r: 😛h34r:

777s don't really make much of a racket. If one wants to really irritate the Love-vicinity NIMBYs just temporarily de-mothball a few of the three-holers sitting in Mojave or wherever...

I would love to see AA and WN at Love going at it. It would be great for the consumers and would really force air fares down. DAL-LAX for $59 each way!!! Just my thoughts.............

"IF" the W/A EVER came "to a head", it would be decided on "K" street, in DC("Lobbyist's Alley").

When it comes to the DFW area, we ALL know who's got the "political juice" in Washington.

The DFW airport will eventually get some "flunkie" carrier(s) paying rent in DFW.

"Wright" STAYS !!!!!!!!!

(Protectionism at It's best) 🙄 🙄 🙄
