Given the history of the US, the percentage of blacks verses the rest of the population do you think there is an equal percentage of the population that voted against him/or not at all because he had the wrong skin color?

Since the percentage of blacks in the U.S. is aprox. 12.6 %, I would say out of the remaining 87.4 % I would venture to say 12.6 either did not vote for him because of skin color OR because they knew he was incapable of the the job !

So in closing our little banter back and forth, I feel more people voted FOR Nobama because of skin color than did vote AGAINST him, because of skin color........................Next !

I'm saying people voted for him simply because they shared the same skin color and not necessarily because they thought he was capable of the job !

I didn't care for McCain's progressiveness at all but what was scarier was Obama's ideology which scared me even more and now four years later, it looks like my fears were well founded.

You're talking nonsense to me. Perhaps because I am foreign born, and actually had to study and prove myself worthy of citizenship, I select candidates as to which I believe will do a better job. Sometimes it's based on who will screw you less. The only reason I am registered to a party, is because I don't want to register every year.

To me Obama hasn't proven he is a good president, maybe you see it differently. And the other candidates are no winners, either. This may be the first time in over 25 years that I decide not to vote.

But like any American who has rights and freedoms, I will continue to bit*h!
