I'm sure NWA could get their hands on a few 777's if need be. I hear they're pretty nice aircraft.

Maybe, maybe not. The 777 was built on time with few delays, yet it too relied on (and still does) outsourced parts. How do ya' 'splain that?

Ditto 767 which is not made whole in Seattle either. Vought fuselage is made in the US so you can't blame foreigners.
