My point was that since it IS an internal union matter, I hope that WHATEVER decision is reached, that the union reps won't try to blame the company for not supporting their efforts.

For the non-union jobs that do use seniority for scheudling, I'm sure that will be determined by each area. But most non-union jobs don't use seniority--especially those at the office.

The company probably won't get involved in the various unions--and each union might end up with a different policy.
