To mean that we will make no laws based on religion - even the Christian faith.  Could you direct me to the part of the constitution that defines the US as a Christian nation?

Separation of church and state means that USA gov. will not establish an official religion - e.g. Church of USA. It absolutely does not mean that the USA is not a Christian country.

With respect to Huckster, he will drop out but get enough exposure to increase the fees for his speaking engagements, maybe a new radio/TV deal, etc.

The Washington Compost devoted an entire paragraph to cover Fiorina and Carson entering the race. I believed they called Dr. Carson a harsh critic of the President (specifically 'Obamacare'). No mention of his background, accomplishments, qualifications, policies, etc. "Journalism" at it's best.
