You evidently don't know how PACs work. Minimum donations are dreck. You need to understand the vast amounts of money that are passed through Political Action Committees--especially the conservative ones like NRA. It's not considered a donation to the NRA, it's a donation to the NRA's Political Action Committee. Though they are supposed to keep records of who donates and how much, it's been found that most don't bother with following the law--and this is true of both left and right leaning PACs. You can thank your Supreme Court that ruled that businesses and PACs were subject to the free speech clause of the Constitution. That's why oil company's can donate incredible amounts of money. The court ruled the company had the right of free speech. Not the employees or specific officers, the company has the right of free speech. Therefore the officers of the company can donate to political candidates in the company's name. No, you don't get a say-so even if you are a stockholder. The officers know what's best for you, now sit down and shut up.
In this case the money has absolutely nothing to do with "communist" countries having or not having the right to bear arms. It had to do with getting Trump elected so that Putin could treat him as his own personal b*tch boy. Today's television interviews made it clear that Putin got what he wanted.
BTW, you need to brush up on current history. There are very few Communist countries anymore--Cuba, Vietnam, and China are the most prominent. And China is an odd mix of Communist government with a democratic business atmosphere. There are none in Eastern Europe since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991. Not even Russia is "officially" a Communist country. It's an oligarchy which is not actually a form of government--it simply means the country is run by a (usually) small group of rich men (headed by Putin) who got rich stealing from the government and the people. There is supposedly a Russian Parliament, but it only passes the laws that Putin tells it to pass.
