And FWIW, the electoral college is why I did NOT vote for president this year. Trump was going to win Kansas, and every single electoral vote from my state was going to him. Why bother voting if my voice isn't heard. Split the electoral vote to better reflect the popular vote. Trump still would have won my state, but since it's all or nothing, my vote didn't matter.

Unions have no leverage anymore.
Their only tool in their toolbox is to withhold their labor.
Looking at the numerous failed strikes prove they have no leverage.
Unions have a tendency to bite the hand that feeds them then ***** about loosing their jobs.
Sorry I feel this way but I was very involved in Unions at one time.
The Eastern and NWA strikes taught me a very good lesson.

We are just as susceptible as anyone else to living on the financial edge buying $50,000 pickup trucks that are 2 lanes wide by a half-block long when the largest thing we ever haul would fit in the back of a Smart car.

Most companies have learned how to placate the union experience, besides, the only ones who worry about 'peanuts tossed their way' are your socialist communists.

It’s true that many people have allowed themselves to become handcuffed by “fear of loss” (can’t lose the dualie!), but go down the pay scale a ways, and there’s a whole lotta fight left. Those are the people (along with women and POC) that will lead the way.

Wow. The US isn't all that old. I remember reading about a day when American's fought injustice. Today it's "meh....whaddya gonna do about it". I'm sure our forefathers are proud of us.
