Congressional Republicans are disagreeing with Ted Cruz on his opposition to the interim spending bill to keep government funded until next September.  Sen. John Cornyn was included in those who do not agree with Cruz.  (Of course, Sen. Cornyn was thrilled to see Ted Cruz elected to the Senate.  With Cruz there, he (Cornyn) is no longer known as the dumbest man in Washington.)

The Dumbest Man in the Senate graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs in 1992.
attended Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.

While at Harvard Law, The Dumbest Man in the Senate was a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review.[7] Referring to Cruz's time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant.

Sure hope he never gets smart like Obama. We'll all living in refrigerator boxes under the Interstate overpass

I have known quite a few book smart people. Some were smart out side in the real world, others not so much. He has done very good politically if the only metric is getting elected. Doing a good job at working for the best of the nation and his state..... not so much.

What about his views on foreign policy?  You know, "Lets bomb them and bomb them good".  Of course as any birther will tell you he's not eligible to be president so I guess we don't have to worry about that.

You should get a reality check, it's Valerie Jarrett who runs the show.

Obama in his own right, birther or no birther has already shown he isn't eligible to be president.

John Stewart and his researchers are already looking for birther quotes to put on the air as we speak.

Birther? Where did you get the idaea I was a birther?/ All his not being born here proves that failed socialist policies know no borders.

Also, let's assume for the moment Obama was born elsewhere. The very worst thing that could happen is the resultant upheaval an attempt at removal from office. It could lead to the second civil war.

As for war mongering and bombing Obama's action far exceed those of Bush by almost 2 to 1. I always thought of Obama as a Drone firing drones.

I wasn't talking about you. I was speaking in general.

Are you kidding me?  GWB invaded a country based on BS.  Over four thousand Americans came home in body bags.  Over a hundred thousand Iraqis have been killed.  Now there's this little group called ISIS that would not exist were it not for GWB.  And by the way GWB ordered drone strikes too.

Were not talking about Valerie Jarrett.  Were talking about Ted Cruz.  If he get the GOP nomination are you going to vote for a Canadian?

Whatever his faults maybe I'll take him over GWB any day of the week.
