US Retrofitting A320's?

An article in the Denver paper said that Frontier is replacing the seats in it's fleet to reduce weight - the new seats are lighter and will cut "up to 1600 lbs" from the weight of their planes. Maybe explains what Tempe is thinking.....

The new seats don't have to be for the A320 family I believe.

BUT, I think I see about 60...make that 62 new B737-900er planes in the US fleet in the near future.

Boeing booked a single unidentified order for 62 B737-900ers at the very end of May. Hmmm....seeems a little coincidental that US was looking for "around 60" new narrowbody planes and was looking at the B737-900er from Boeing and was "really impressed" with it.

We will hopefully find out soon since the Paris Air Show is soon...and that was when they said they would probably announce....but I think we may know what planes lie in US's future.
