You brought up a great point; a lot of unions are run by/for 20-30-40 year guys (yes, guys). That's all well & good, but the current workforce doesn't resemble that at all. This is a large part of how 141 **** the bed at DL. They built a campaign of & for middle-aged workers. That would've been great if it was 1998. It's not.

Ultimately, it meant selling something people weren't interested in buying. What had taken years to get rolling was undone in a matter of weeks.
 
We have conglomerate brain trust at 141 equivalent to one Swiss port supervisor leading entire Union without fair elections. Until election process changes don't complain about you're **** contract coming
