I feel sorry for McCain. It has become tragic to watch him...and that bizarre Neo Nazi wife he put on the VP tix.

I am willing to donate to reserve a place for McCain at Shady Pines. In fact they should put that in the Pork section of the bailout.

I'm willing to pitch in on a ticket to Kenya, for Nobama, so he can run for one of the local Muslim tribe leader positions. He's much more qualifled for that position than of POTUS !

Well my friends...I'll answer the question (then didn't). I think one way to offset the $700,000,000,000 bailout is to toss in a nickle for every time McCain said "my friends". After last night alone, we would have whittled it down to $350,000,000,000

My friend......

I liked the stupid look Obama kept making most of the time....He looked better when debating Hillary.Wonder if they coach them on that stuff....you know...look more real.

Obama is still an empty nest.....he's not electable by any means.

I give points to Brokaw for the most part sitting on Obama as far as time constraints.

My my

This might come as a shock to you, but my vote changed last night. Watching that debate was like watching Scanners for the first time. My husband and I had to turn the TV off mid way and send the children out of the room.

I, too, felt sorry for McCain. I don't know who I'm voting for, but it's not going to be McCain and it won't be Obama. That puts me in third party territory which would mean the dreaded "wasted vote" but I can't vote for Palin as long as she's alongside that, ahem, man.

He came off as elderly, possibly suffering signs of early dementia, possibly Alzheimers, and he looked frail and weak. Come to think of it, he looked just like Bush, add a few years. While I don't abhor the idea of Palin becoming President, when you're living in a Post-9/11 world, you have to think about the delays our government would face going through the chain of succession and dealing with the death of the President, which for McCain I'd say is imminent. We can't afford that and it makes this ticket totally insolvent.

I'm very emotional right now...

Can we all agree that Palin did better in her debate than McCain did in Debate #2, right?

For all the Palin hate going around, and there has been plenty, I don't know if anyone can say she did worse than McCain did last night.

Obama was courteous, pleasant, and respectful. When McCain threw the first jab at Obama I was taken back. Everything had been so civil and friendly and then the attacks began. I was thinking, "this is a Town Hall...this isn't really the forum to be attacking someone one-on-one...that garbage is left for the commercials or your campaign rallies..."

I was terribly disappointed.

Gosh Bobbie, I am shocked! Don't waste a vote. It's worse than not voting at all.

I was undecided until McCain picked Palin. I think the vetting/decision process speaks volumes of his candidacy.

The following is a quote from Maureen Dowd's column regarding Palin in the NYT. (i know, I know-you don't have to say it).

"Palin finally took questions on Tuesday from her traveling press corps on her campaign plane. Asked if she thought Senator Obama was dishonest, McCain’s Mean Girl meandered:

“I’m not saying he’s dishonest, but in terms of judgment, in terms of being able to answer a question forthrightly, it has two different parts to this. The judgment and the truthfulness and just being able to answer very candidly a simple question about when did you know him, how did you know him, is there still — has there been an association continued since ’02 or ’05, I know I’ve read a couple different stories. I think it’s relevant.â€

Of course she does.

Me again- I don't know about anyone else, a inop VP is a no-go item in my MEL.

Debates in this day and age are photo ops at best.
Neither pol is going to take a chance anymore....too much media microscoping for that.
The debate is all about perception not content.

Lousy debaters sometimes make good in other venues.

Neither knocked anybodys socks off .
