And another plane crashed today in Colombia -- a Kalitta 747. Did that come from Michigan too?

This is the second Kalitta plane to go down recently. The first was on takeoff from Brussels a few months ago.

Ya think these planes are structurally fatigued?

I was at Willow in the mid eighties doing C checks for Rosie and worked with a lot of guys from Kalitta and the Zipper.....Conrad tossed the Fed PMI guys out of the hangar around that time and started an ongoing love affair with the FAA.

It runs in my mind Kalitta had a Lear go down somewhere in the states on approach and they found nose candy belonging to the pilot....around the same time.
