For inflight, base pay goes from 1848.16 to 1903.60?
and our hourly pay goes from 41.08 to 42.30?
A f/a flying 80 hrs goes from 3286.40 to 3384.00 up 97.60 a month? 1171.20 a year?

I seem to recall the last time Delta FAs voted on AFA in 2002. After failing, a mere 30 days later their first MEMO came announcing the elimination of their 'blended' pay.
One thing is for sure about being in a strong union, you have the union to lobby against uncontrolled business, for you. When those politicians have a union tellin them that they and their members are gonna replace um, the outlook can be different.Union advocates and non-union advocates are all rolling their eyes at the grand 3% gesture. We know it is in response to the unionization effort. What are people saying? "Too little, too late!"
Now on the other hand if I knew I had a contract with an annual 3% increase, maybe that would mean something else. 6 months from now, if the unionization effort fails and fuel keeps rising....

You can hate the idea of unionization being the only solution but I would rather place my anger and resentment at the puppet masters, that decide my fate and not the one tangible thing that could save our jobs and give us the power to negotiate.
Instead of feeling weak and powerless, and at the mercy of blind capitalism. Muster up the courage to stand together and use our voices to make our futures more secure and not just fill the bank accounts of the few at the top of the food chain.
No one wants to be unreasonable and ask for everything the pilots got in their merger agreement.
