What's new

7 GI's speak out.

The threat of force and the actual application of force are to separate issues. W went against all recommendations, Cheney went against his own recommendations and invaded a country with no support from those involved in the situation. Whether Clinton would have been so stupid to do what Cheney and W did is an unknown and not worth discussion. W and Cheney did do it.

What Sadam possessed while Clinton was in office for 8 years may have changed dramatically. By most indications, the inspections leading up to the invasions and the inspections / searches after the invasion indicated that what ever he had was disposed of. Again, whether or not the data was manipulated by W and/or Clinton is not really the issue as I see it. The issue, is who acted on information that was not sound and who continues to try and keep the lie(s) going?

Funny then....seems to me a whole boat load of senators and congressmen and heads of other countries including the UN all agree Saddam was in violation.

As far as going on his own.......where you get this opium dream of Cheney giving the nod is beyond me....

Today Dastardly Dick Cheney declared war on the entire world while W was in the shower....

Heard 'W' singing this around the fire right before we invaded.....

I can't wait forever
Even though you want me to
I can't wait forever ....
Time won't let me, oh no
Time won't let me, oh no
Time won't let me wait that long
Can't you see I've waited too long
I can't wait that long
I can't wait that long
I can't wait that long
Don't wanna wait that long
Not gonna wait that long

Got 2 words for you...Dell/local 12....................................BILL MOYERS(PBS)

Poster boy for the Lib left???

Forgetting about Al Franken??

When he retired in December 2004, the AP News Service quoted Moyers, "I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee. We have an ideological press that's interested in the election of Republicans, and a mainstream press that's interested in the bottom line. Moyers said: Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people."

What did I miss?

As much as have every one else has. No more, no less. The fact that our soldiers are dying to ‘defend and protect’ as is their oath while we continue a mental masturbation on the issues upsets me to no end. I have more angst for the back peddlers that supported war but suppressed the action and now are against it. These are our ‘leaders’ that we have to choose for as the next POTUS and I for one am disgusted with them ‘ALL’!!!

Yea I abhore the 'flip floppers' as well, Its sickening to see what we have to choose from as leaders of the Free World. Its become a Nation of 'Anything Go's' all the while we have an enemy determined to destroy us. Im starting to wonder which one will bring us down first!

Yea, I hate the flip flopper's also. I won't use troops to nation build .. I will use troops to nation build. We did the right thing by not going into Iraq, now we did the right thing by going into Iraq ... I just wish they would pick a side and stick with it. The flip flops go on but I think you get the point.
