You are assuming that after all these years of standing firm, the APA will roll over on their SCOPE clause and allow AE to fly a/c with more than 70 seats. If they did, there would be no need for the E-190. AMR would move the S80s and the 737s to AE.

I don't see APA giving up that much income--all the S80/737 cockpits leaving the dues paying ranks--or control.

I think the assumption would be that APA MIGHT up the 70 seats limitation to 99 seats. This would allow AE to fly the E-190 series aircraft with a small F cabin.
