Don't get to excited A330US.

PIT is doing a single C-Check on the B757's ...The HMV work is still being done in Mobile.

Seeing more than B737's you say?....The B737 tracks are being done in CLT 2 Q's and 1 C-Check going on at any given time.

The best we can hope for at this point..is for the HMV's on the B757's to return to CLT....Bay 3 and it's $800,000.00 tall dock is being wasted completely...unless you count a few Drop-Ins that do nothing for the actual headcount.

i heard there is a 757 in CLT right now for some reason
some single check i guess
but whats happening in pit is a C check right,
hopefully i think they all will come back

DP stated in the state of the airline address that he is very happy with the quality of work in-house and hinted of more work coming back. Remarks have been made about the poor quality of work being produced at the Mobile site and is not in very good standing. Put 2 and 2 together.

Three 757's that are non-EOW will be taken off the line this fall. When the come back on the line, they will be EOW aircraft, with winglets. Don't know who is doing the work yet. Hope it is in house.

If a 757 is in CLT Base ?....You can bet your Cowboy Hat and your House Cat that it's a "Drop-In" CLT Bay 3 and Bay 4 has been nothing beyond "Line Maintenance" overflow for two years or more.

The active 757 fleet has been short-changed for a long time due to too many parts being sent to BFM....and Not readily available to the revenued fleet. BFM is a mess...and a detracting influence to what brings home the bacon.

What outsourcing to YUL and BFM has done to the A330 and 767 Fleet is beyond un-acceptable from a number of reasons...In-House rules over the Out-House.

you mean etops right? scott kirby mentioned on the state of the airline meeting that the company received approval from the board to convert 3 more 757´s into etops a/c mainly to begin more european expansion. i have not heard anything about winglets . that´s a new one to me.

At the current price of jet fuel, winglets will pay for themselves in less than one year. We are getting them on the 757's.

word I heard.....

if they did these three...in a timely fashion...more were to come...most likely from BFM.
