Flight Service website talks about NEW F/C seats, also one additional F/C seat, AVOD, and other enhancements. I haven't been on a -200 for a long time, but I am sure they could use some sprucing up.

These airplanes will probably have to be scrapped because of the "TWA" maintenance program at MCI. We have been getting these -200's here at AFW that have been C-checked by MCI for the last few years. The corrosion on these "TWA" specials is so bad that a C-check that should take only two weeks is taking four weeks plus. We now know why MCI is considered more efficent. They just "pencil whip" the inspections and send the airplanes right back out. MCI must think that grey powder is just "bonding compound".

Tws 80s are the same way, it took 56 days to do 1 80 because of corrosion in aft cargo. Yet Breshette and Hammack accused us of laying down, it was amazing how that one sentence P-Od an entire dock, so much that we were disbanded and scattered around the base, as if it were our fault that it took so long to work a TW 80. Also got to tell you that there are quite a few people that feel that the FLATLINE is headed the way of TW maintenance.
Rumor going around the Base was that the FLATLINE was told that they were bad boys and girls and that if they didn't pick up the pace all maintence would be farmed out.

They could possibly using the old 777 FC seats as they go with suites on all the AC.

Mikey, Don't forget the "old" 767 international seats that they already know will fit. I would assume that the 777 seats are too big. Plus there aren't any single seats out there for the middle. I say the old 767 international seats that lie flat with the massage mode. But, they probably already disposed of them long ago. If they didn't, they would have more than enough of them left over. They would be a big upgrade over what is there.

The beige leather seats are a flashback to the 1960's! We need to update our interiors as AA likes to live in the past and not the present/future. They also need to update the 757's in first class.

Screw that, my paycheck needs an upgrade, talk about the past, my paycheck has the buying power of the 1930's.
