Flight Service website talks about NEW F/C seats, also one additional F/C seat, AVOD, and other enhancements. I haven't been on a -200 for a long time, but I am sure they could use some sprucing up.
Tws 80s are the same way, it took 56 days to do 1 80 because of corrosion in aft cargo. Yet Breshette and Hammack accused us of laying down, it was amazing how that one sentence P-Od an entire dock, so much that we were disbanded and scattered around the base, as if it were our fault that it took so long to work a TW 80. Also got to tell you that there are quite a few people that feel that the FLATLINE is headed the way of TW maintenance. These airplanes will probably have to be scrapped because of the "TWA" maintenance program at MCI. We have been getting these -200's here at AFW that have been C-checked by MCI for the last few years. The corrosion on these "TWA" specials is so bad that a C-check that should take only two weeks is taking four weeks plus. We now know why MCI is considered more efficent. They just "pencil whip" the inspections and send the airplanes right back out. MCI must think that grey powder is just "bonding compound".
They could possibly using the old 777 FC seats as they go with suites on all the AC.Flight Service website talks about NEW F/C seats, also one additional F/C seat, AVOD, and other enhancements. I haven't been on a -200 for a long time, but I am sure they could use some sprucing up.
They would be a big upgrade over what is there.
