Proof that white elephants can fly. The whale sounds were appropriate that's for sure.

Was interesting to see that they build planes. Instead of an assembly line the aircraft remains stionary and everything is brought to it.

I wonder what the costs are to ship all the different parts to one central location????
That alone has to be astronomical

I would not want to be one of the drivers. Can you imagine if you sneeze as you're driving through one of the small town with a rig like that? Payroll deduct?

I thought I remembered them saying on one of the many programs on the 380 that since so many nations were building components for the plane to share the burden of R&D and exposure that is ends up being less expensive to ship it all to one central assembly plant.
