Hey US wouldn't have to worry about gate space in PHL. They'd use the AA gates in terminal A East in a merger. This is all getting a bit silly and not ONE person from any airline or newspaper knows any more than the other. Let it go until an announcement is made. It's exhausting after a while......bases, fleet types, takeovers, staples....My God.
