I'm a mechanic wondering where my union is! I'm so glad I don't have to look in the mirror and think I was one of those chowder heads that voted AMFA in. The IAM is at least trying to sue United, and demand a trustee, the Flight attendants union is in total agreement with them, and the pilots are wanting to do whatever it takes not to lose our pension or anything else. Where is AMFA, out negotiating with United to farm stuff out to Canada, how they could even bring that motion back to vote on is beyond me, if this passes all you other airline mechanics better watch out, because we all know when one airline finds a way to hose their employees they all follow suit. It really pisses me off that AMFA followers are so blind and arrogant that they voted in AMFA even after they sabotaged our contract, and now that they are in here not doing squat but bending over making things easy for the company, all these idiots can do is make jokes about the" mighty" IAM suing UAL, they might not win but at least they aren't making it easy, and not telling UAL to gut the pension like O.V. Delle Feminazi. Thanks for the place to vent, and I hope you keep thewebsite going I've always enjoyed it.
