Am surprise that they are adding the flights back so soon

I thought about that but by announcing now that the flights will resume three weeks after suspension, AA can always lengthen the suspension by making a further announcement in two weeks or so, once AA has more time to evaluate traffic. If things look good, everyone expects the flights to return by 4/26. If they don't look so good in a week or two, AA can quietly stretch out the suspension for another two or three weeks.

Yet another earthquake just struck off the coast of Sendei on Thursday morning (PDT); this time a 7.4 magnitude.

Another tsunami is expected, but this one should be only about one meter.

In HND-related news, UA filed with the DOT that it would like DL's frequencies (or AA's) if the airlines don't restart the HND services within the 90 day dormancy period.
