Airline might expand frontier into Canada

First came touchdown in the warm resort cities of Mexico. Now Frontier Airlines is looking north to snowy Canada.

The low-cost discount carrier is researching the possibility of expanding service to Canada, although no decisions have been made on destinations or a timetable, according to Chief Financial Officer Paul Tate.

The look at Canada comes three years after Frontier started service in Mexico, a schedule that it will expand to seven cities with flights to Cozumel and Acapulco.

Along with its growth plans, Frontier is looking for more gates at Denver International Airport. Frontier spokesman Joe Hodas said the company will be talking to airport officials about how to secure room to grow at DIA, including asking if other carriers can move from the A concourse.

That would be SOOOOO fricking awesome to see all of concourse A Frontier ONLY HMMMMMMMMMMMM. You never know ?
