AirTran JetConnect Cities

I now that Airtran is starting Airtran Jet Connect will the out station be ran by Airtran or Air Wisconsin agents. An when Airtran Starts service back into MYR who will operate the station.

Acutally, MYR has not been mentioned by AirWisconsin. The following cities will receive at least one CRJ:

MKE
ATL
SAV
JAX
GSO

Keep in mind AirWisconsin will be operating this new system. All Flight Attendants and Flight Deck Crewmembers will be AirWisconsin. AirWisconsin is based out of Appleton, Wisconsin with United Express, operating hubs in Chicago and Denver. AirTran Jet Connect will more than likely retain all interiors of United. The outside livery can be found by looking at AvSim.com under Search AirTran. This is not offical, but a projection. GPT is a possibility with Jet Connect, but there is no mention, just rumours.
Jet Connect was a rumour, but its real. AirTran has a habit of keeping things secret. I think Jet Connect will benefit them. Gate assignments in ATL will be most likely be jetway operating, using the new CRJ adapter, of which I have used in Memphis.

If you go to airtran.com they have the schedules loaded into the computer. All TLH-TPA-MIA will be jet connect. There will be also ATL-TPA flight, and ATL-TLH flights also. All this starting in the spring.

actually there was a press release on Monday 4 flights a day to MYR on jet connect starting in MAR03.

Colin, GPT will not be getting CRJs. The 717s are here to stay. Don't worry, I checked on that already and you already know who I checked it with.

Actually, GPT getting CRJ's is a real possibility, considering the fact AirTran could lose support from Mirage Resorts at any minute. The day that happens, GPT has at least one salvation left, and it's those CRJ's. Good thing they got them. I will not be suprised the day I see one in GPT.

On another note, anyone want photos from JetConnect? I am planning on flying them A.S.A.P. when I receive my second paycheck, this will be X-Fares, so I don't know what city I'll end up in

GPT will most likely not get RJs. The only way I can see it is if it's a key FF destination for them, and then they will stay only until LAS is added.
