What's new

Al Blackman's 70 years with AA.

Its sad. I guess as long as he's happy and content working til he's laid to rest..then that's all that matters. With AA swiping our retiree pension and medical ..he may not have a choice working for life.

Awesome share Hopeful ! Thanks for the link, to bad they didn't show the mural they talked about. I'm a huge fan of all the aviation art all over Tulsa Base that different individuals have done. There is a stock clerk in Hangar 3 that can do magic with a pencil especially his Pulse Line Logo he did that they used for stickers.

I stand corrected I guess they did show it in the video on the second link you put up.

Thanks Bud for your efforts !

Hopeful,
You've mentioned Mr. Blackmun/Blackman many-many-times, but this was the first time I had the pleasure of seeing 'Al.

The man LOOKS Great, and sounds like a guy in his very early 70's.
HEL, I worked with guys in BOS that were 62, and were bragging that they were "getting out" to take Early retirement(from SS). To go "live the Good Life". Many never even SAW age 70 !

God Bless Him!
Thanx again Hopeful.
