How about this for a plan of survival for the American Airlines AMT?

Ask each and every AMT that is fed-up with secret negotiations, secret letters of agreement, tentative agreements that leave future joint committees to negotiate details of life changing matters after ratification, and appointed untouchable sellout leadership...

...To vote yes on the contract extension, then take 1/2 of the signing bonus which should a little over $600.00 per AMT after taxes, and place that amount into an AMT survival escrow type of fund.

This fund will be used to fund, form, and organize an independent union to represent the American Airlines Mechanic and Related Group.

We will have 2 years from DOS of the agreement to jump through the legal hurdles and get the cards signed and submitted to the National Mediation Board.

Although we will not likely get 100%, we will surely get enough participation to replace the TWU once and for all.
