Tim/Al says we have 7 people on ignore... I have the same seven... but it's actually two.. MAX!

Timmy/Al Glass, who are you to say the company knows what's best for the membership?

Would you guys vote in the United contract plus 3% in pay, or not if the offered it?
No. And I would be strongly against the United contract since it agreed to wipe out dozens of stations and another 2 dozen stations slated for wipeout in a few years. The scope prevents me from supporting the United contract along with the elimination of the part time caps and supervisors doing work.
AA's last and final offer was 40 stations with exclusive work, CLP, Tower, lavs, and some deicing. I don't want to lose catering but that came off the table when the IAM flipped and tried to add the IAM pension back in the final offer. I told them but they didn't listen.

It's not up to me to say what is best either. It's up to the employees and that is always acted upon by a democratic vote. The vote will be the only way to determine.

Are you really that butt hurt that AMFA has produced the best contract offer in the industry for pass airlines. Even beating out the teamsters best in 2004? Even your TWU/IAM will be hard pressed to get better, but I really hope they do for the mechanics. Time for you to start eating crow boy. AMFA actually did very well at SWA and DID what the membership wanted them to do. Just admit it, and I will leave you alone for life. Surely you can't refuse that weez??? LOL...
It’s great to have a union that listen to there members. Treating members as adults . And they are accountable they sign there updates. Ok AA amts let’s fire this association and get Amp are AMFA. The association treats us as children they think they know what’s best for us. They will not post the company are union proposals that’s our rights as members who have to live with the contract has the right. And it all depends on 2 people if we get a ta are not. Unless sito gets the iampf he want sign off on a ta. We need to rid ourselves of this association

But why does it take you to lose anything to make you want to fight? Why doesn’t knowing the fact that they still want to take from your 2014 agreement as the fifth largest carrier enough to make us fight?
Waiting until you lose something to fight is too late!! You’ve already lost at that point. Company doesn’t care how pissed you are then.
The union has showed no proof release both union and company proposals so the members can read and see what’s happening. I’m not taking your word for it show us the proof; the union want even sign the updates makes me more skeptical of the union. And I bet most members want to see both sides. Why is the union afraid to show them. Could you and the association be lieing. So prove to us what you say is true. Show the numbers. I’m sick of the union I pay dues to keeping us in the dark with scare tactics about loseing day and after noon shifts

Well, I disagree buddy. I have zero confidence we, the TWU members, will ever be made whole from what we are enduring with this association debacle. We are treated as second class citizens with inferior benefits since this thing took off. I`m tired, frustrated, and angry. Pessimistic would be putting it mildly. We are screwed.
Dvl...What do you mean by “ be made whole”?

Dude... it was the COMPANY(S) that decided to merge, the AFL-CIO elected to prevent the same from circumventing the two elected represented groups by leaving the membership possibly UNREPRESENTED, and at will!

I'll bet guys like Tim would have loved for to have happened. That is crux of all of these "We didn't get vote" arguments, and that is to make the unions the big bad boogie man...

The current DIVIDE AND CONQUER campaigning is not working!
Not working??.who do you work for and where

There are NO FULL COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSALS.

I know your answer, but we were told we would have a vote on the association. That alone has left many of us pissed off beyond comprehension.
Yea, I don't remember signing that dues check off card and it stating I'm agreeing to be lied to. But then again, I may have just missed it.

really? So basket is just lying when he says that the company's scope offer is a written proposal to eliminate bagroom and running?

Look, it can't be both. Either the company offered to eliminate bagrooms/running, or they didn't. You cant have it both ways. If they didn't, then what's all the fuss about the company offer to eliminate bagroom and running.

The reality is that they did in fact make a final offer. And the mediators wouldn't have spent 2 minutes in 'bullet point' negotiations. Who do you think you are fooling?

Maybe you are fooled by Sito. Because none of you have been in the room. But if your narrative is that they never wrote down a scope offer then kindly tell basket to stop saying they did and it was unacceptable.

regards,

And if history repeats other us air mergers we on the TWU side might be in trouble. Look at the aw/us mergers you had the east and west pilots that fought each other . The flight attendants on aw/us never had a contract till the AA merger. History repeating its self.. . Parker likes to have groups fight over each other. Because he could of stoped this a long time ago. And brought us TWU members with the iam members. But he likes devide work groups. And the unions gave up there leverage by giving up working each other’s metal. So Parker got what he wanted the biggest group TWU members on a bk contract. And we can work each other’s metal

Hmm thought we said let the membership vote. What i do try to remind people is the we are in a competitive industry. The company would gladly match any of the other airlines contracts thats pay and workrules.Unfortunately past sacrifices cant be factored in.Thats not how business works

Explain why pilots and FAs unions took a vote, and have one union representation. The association is divide and conquer. We are all treated as though the association knows better.

They don’t

Samuelsen, Mays and Sutton are here in MIA telling these people the very same thing. Many are getting it but there are just some who can’t seem to grasp it.
