American Airlines and Labor Negotiations

Samuelsen, Mays and Sutton are here in MIA telling these people the very same thing. Many are getting it but there are just some who can’t seem to grasp it.
So it seems the company even told the mediator their intentions. The mediator should request the next step and release.

Explain why pilots and FAs unions took a vote, and have one union representation. The association is divide and conquer. We are all treated as though the association knows better.

They don’t
Thanks to Jim Little.

So if the company puts their last offer into contract form the union would let us vote on it? That seems doable they are a 40 billion dollar company

really? So basket is just lying when he says that the company's scope offer is a written proposal to eliminate bagroom and running?

Look, it can't be both. Either the company offered to eliminate bagrooms/running, or they didn't. You cant have it both ways. If they didn't, then what's all the fuss about the company offer to eliminate bagroom and running.

The reality is that they did in fact make a final offer. And the mediators wouldn't have spent 2 minutes in 'bullet point' negotiations. Who do you think you are fooling?

Maybe you are fooled by Sito. Because none of you have been in the room. But if your narrative is that they never wrote down a scope offer then kindly tell basket to stop saying they did and it was unacceptable.

regards,
Nice try...... It was stated that the company defined core work as loading and unloading of aircraft. Never was it stated that the company used the words eliminate bagroom, abr, etc.
Surely, you understand that by company’s definition of core work it would NOT INCLUDE any work such as bagroom, catering, etc.
Naturally, the company is not foolish enough to say “ we will have the right over time to eliminate all catering work, bagroom work, all transfer work, repo, Lav and water & Deice (except a few protected locations) etc etc and expect our members to be ok with it.
But you do of course know this.....it’s just what you do...

Hey Al to answer your last question. Samuelsen doubled down on what he said before and on that picture I keep posting here in a Breakroom full of people.

So strap in cause looks like we’re in this for the long haul.

Ill agree the long haul as far as strapped in nah long and boring ride like a freight train that watchs the express pass them.In our case the express being the other work groups.1960s type rally sounds good but its alll bark

Thank you for the TWU Local513 update. Best update I have ever read. The IAM and the ASSociation have a lot to learn from what the TWU puts out at a LOCAL level.

TWU, MIA.

Mike Mays, John Samuelsen, WeAAsles, Gary Peterson and Andre Sutton.

I want to truly thank the negotiators for stepping into the breach of criticism, it is unfortunate for them that they were put in the position of distrust by the membership because of the association in of itself.

Today’s membership is smarter, more informed and resent being treated with disrespect by the organization that we are forced to pay to work at AA.

Thank you all just the same. It’s much easier to do nothing and complain rather then step up and do something.

bagroom is included and explicit in the work. The offer is written. It exist and its not bullet points.

Hope they got a plan and just not morale boosting
they have zero plan. they are lazy and looks like baskett and wilson packed on 50 pounds a piece.
They have done nothing in 5 years except F up united, F up our leverage here, fail to enforce our contract, but gave themselves a $31,000 pay raise.
$3 pay increase may not mean anything to baskett but it means alot to people on the floor. Without a vote, they will alienate more members, especially since there wont be a 30 day like weez lies about, only ice.
Im gonna fire up the cards at the printer if things are stalled with no path by June. Then they will have to deal with a raid. I dont think a raid will initially work but it will build and gain steam after a few more years.
