Josh from an outside unbiased view with all the BS going on and about to go on wiil in encourage people to leave the union altogether in the RTW states

Yes. Very few people would electively pay dues for the representation you guys are receiving. The unions know this and that’s why they’re terrified by right to work, Janus, etc. They’d sooner pay off politicians who will protect the unions from accountability than provide representation people would electively pay for.

Sorta like if you’ve purchased a new car in the last few years the sales people and managers would sooner coerce you to give them all 10s on the manufacturer post sale survey than give genuinely good service that you would report favorably.

Swampy my prediction their card drive keeps going, the Association comes out with a sub par contract , the TWU side votes it down, and maintenance leaves the Association.

My prediction is that the AMT’s of American Airlines will continue to be pestered by 2 Trolls from another Airline and a goofball Ramper from their own Airline far more than any of them will actually converse amongst themselves.

Maybe one day the 3 of us idiots should leave these people alone? But none of us are planning to are we.

I’m saying they by and large don’t support democracy for their constituents. They want closed shop, dues check-off to let them slide by with meager performance while their bloated bureaucracy thrives and the appointed leaders get cushy salaries with no accountability.

Again AA PAYS YOU. On the other hand YOU PAY the IAM.

Troll ,if they get it done more power to them. That frees up more time for the Association to concentrate on ramp, which is the bigger group. It's harder to please the maintenance group, than ramp personal.

Time will tell, but I really don't want to get rid of the association prior to a JCBA.

In Illinois, some consvative cities have passed "Right to Work" Ordinances. The unions challenged it, it's now in court. Guess who is arguing it? Yep, the same firm that argued Janus. It claims that there is nothing in the federal NLRA that prohibits a city from having 'right to work'. Let's see how that goes. If it is successful, then it will eat bad unions alive, even in states like Illinois that are not right to work.
