No, but one Insurance becomes Primary when Dyalisis starts for 33 months and then they switch, then When a Kidney arrives the 33 months. So did that mean you lost your medical? When we are off payroll (unpaid status), we stay on the current contribution schedule for up to 9 months prior to having to go on cobra.
Your bias notwithstanding.
actually Dave Stewart is from tulsa and imo he will be successful in removing the Association from the mechanic group this fall. I think it will potentually be better for both groups. The mechanic group is dying thru globalism, but the ramp craft is not subject to globalism and is still progressing. Our interest are separate than mx issues.ELIMINATE THE ASSOCIATION UPDATE

Outstanding! Congrats to all. Hope this is done by the end of the year.
Tim are we seeing the dismantling of the association? Is there anything that could be done now to save it?Will this force Sito into a corner and accept a subpar agreement?
Well that would be great. But, me being an outsider looking in, I would assume with the IAM'ers now on the list it will take a bit longer to get the numbers, but I still think it will get done this time. Most all the TWU'ers want out gig time. Now the propaganda that the IAM'ers will lose their pension, medical, outsourcing language etc.. will kick in shortly. All the scare tactics will once again come from the asso.Forget the end of the year. I bet they can get it done by the end of this month.

Weez, if the mechanics leave your group with the asso. it will best for both groups. For one thing, no more "waiting" for either side to finish nego. For another, it will be fleet guys voting on fleet issues and the same for the mechanics and mechanic issues. Hey, who knows, maybe the asso. would be willing to let the mechanics get out on their own and not even fight it, huh??? LOL...
The Fat lady is tuning her voice mimime
Swampy my prediction their card drive keeps going, the Association comes out with a sub par contract , the TWU side votes it down, and maintenance leaves the Association.Well that would be great.
