it appears that they are obsessed with me. Why are they so obsessed with someone that they claim has no credibility is beyond me other than fear. While I cant say for sure that there will in fact be a new intl vote, if there isnt, there will be raids on most iam properties and organizing drives. The members deserve better than madness.

Well here’s the reality. Lots of posters on here keep saying that the Company can’t do it because of the perception that other Union groups will have and they’ll want it also. Well I can see that if the TWU side gets the benefit they never had. But they really can’t say much if the status quo just carries on regarding the IAM.

Like I said I’m just passing on the rumor. Forums is loaded up to death with rumors, what’s one more going to matter?

Weez, here's the deal... the company can pretty much do as they please at this point. They have lobbied the current ruling party for decades. Icidentally, that party now CONTROLS EVERYTHING! Dudes like Tim will blame the union for anything the ruling party implements. It won't matter what the circumstances!

Tim can’t vote for himself because he would actually have to physically show up at an IAM Lodge and Tim hasn’t been to one of them in almost 20 years.

It’s 2018. Even the IAM can conduct votes online, via phone, or using absentee ballots.

My understanding is that in the last several elections that he participated in, there were a limited number of "road shows" And, it has been reported in this very forum, virtually NOBODY showed up, other than a handful of loyalist antcipating appointed union gigs --

Very similar to the demographics here in this forum. Lot's of empty seats... that speaks volumes!

Right to Work for cities may go to the supreme court and allow progressive cities in States like NY, Ill, or Cali to declare RTW.

The awful labor organizations need to finally become accountable or be replaced. Otherwise, workers will not continue with forced dues.

Not looking to offend with this comment but perhaps when you get back in to the IAM you can work to change the things you don’t like? I would concentrate all my efforts on getting back in first though.

I’m not a voting member of the IAM anyway. And I’m fine and accept the way my Union does things actually.
