Actually I think the IAMNPF is holding up talks, they don’t want to lose the LUS membership. That would be nearly a 25% hit to the funds active count, no?

I will probably hear the loud scream in BOS from D.C. when the T/A gets ratified and LUS leaves the fund.

Josh
yes but the twu is deceiving their members and telling the members that talks are being held up by Isoms secret coup against Parker.

How much will the company really save between the pension and 401 its only for the LUS side.Ill bet the figures are pretty close
its about United. American wants to put maybe billions of debt on United. United advised it shareholders of possible additional risk from the iam pension.

United won't be responsible for the IAMPF short fall I don't understand what you mean.Yes Sito probably has orders to do his best to keep us on the fund or it may go broke

2 weeks yet? About 2 weeks? Approximately 2 weeks? Roundabout 2 weeks? Somewhere around 2 weeks? Week after next? Half a month from now? 14.7 days from now? 336 hours? 20160 minutes? 1209600 seconds?

to tim and al the companies proposal is sustandard just like most things from usair. you have cheaper medical because they didn't pay you crap.your contract just out of bankruptcy brought you up to our bankruptcy contract pay. M&R contracting out language is much better than usair language.Keep talking and at least I don't get stuck with your crappy language as soon.

Agreed way to many managers we have over 50 here when we were a hub with 200 mainline flights we had like 14. I don't know what they are thinking I thought it was an AA thing.AA people tell me they thought it was an US thing either way seeing all manager strengthens my resolve not to give into concessions

given the fact that the company recently stated that some mid/high level managers will get trimmed. maybe some believe that their position will be spared if the company eliminates two lower level supervisors to their one mid-high level position:

- under this ceo's watch...mid-high level managers are padding, adding insulation to protect their jobs.

- the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

either way, wall street knows this airline is skipping down shambolic lane. like i said, i see it every day...low-level managers coasting, not wanting to be bothered with issues that they were hired to be bothered with.

Why would gary take his gloves off and trash isom and lie about a isom coup?
So unprofessional that negotiations are now completely trashed and will be back to zero. Gary is a narcissist who was clueless. Now there will be hell to pay for us.
Do you believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster got in petersons head or was he off his meds?

this sounds like your way out if there is no TA in the next week?

the contractual fate of tens of thousands that effect the operational preformance and dependability of a $43 billion a year revenue airline will go down the tubes because one union guy thinks the #2 wants to be the #1?

the stock has tanked for other reasons...

And your union leaders care about you??Bwaaaaaa. They care about your dues and if they don't get if from you theyll get it from someone else.Hell your own local President won't even talk to you
nobody talks to him in mia as he is known as an iam and management loyalist. Turning people into management is anti union. What is hilarious is out of 3,000 members, he broke the record for least votes ever. Only 9. And even 700 admitted that weez most likely cost his whole team after he got outted.
NYer didnt even want to buy him a coffee and be seen with him.

Oh sod off with your sanctimonious claptrap BS. And screw the Execs too. They’re all a bunch of lying leeches been playing games with our Negotiations for almost 3 years now.

Let me let you in on a secret maybe you can’t understand. You’re NOTHING to them. You’re a flea little Baggage Handler. Parker wouldn’t even let you carry his Golf Clubs or clean his balls.

I have no problem at all about Gary’s opinion. It might even be based on fact for all you know.

Al why don’t you apply for Management? DEAD serious here.
WeAAz, we are nothing to the union either... It's all about the union dues....DUES, DUES, DUES AND MORE DUES!
That is their main concern.

I
Protected? How far can he go ?Can he be as malicious as he wants without consequences? In the business world his accusation is pretty f@@ked up
Protected? I doubt it. Inciting an action that undoubtedly will be denied if a court injunction were to occur.

Everything in America has a basis around money but no I don’t believe your comment is completely correct. If that were true then the Association wouldn’t have been wasting time fighting for all the items in our CBA’s that have nothing to do with dues.

Medical savings and Retirement contributions don’t add to the Union coffers and as a matter of fact take away from what could be collected in wages.

You could take any item in the CBA and there probably will be a monetary value attached to it. In turn, one could say, you could achieve a superior contract with fewer members and a crappy contract that keeps more people on the union roster.
My experience with the TWU has been the latter.

Stop your lies!
The company offered all scope for 40 stations. Period. When Sito still made the iam pension a deal breaker...everything came off the table. You dont give a damn so you spread your anti worker crap and spread your bs about isom wanting to oust parker.
When I out you about your exit strategy you say we will get better offers in section 6. Do you realize how dumb you are? Im not joking.

Ok you’re back once again on a sole focus against the TWU which is obviously the acronym you consider to be your enemy. The acronym is not where your focus should be. You should be focusing on the people in leadership positions under the acronym, the work they perform today and the work they performed to help elevate them to their positions.

And the monetary value is irrelevant since you wanted to focus solely on the DUES. If it were only about the dues there would be no arguments other than Scope (more work), ways to keep that work, ways to keep those workers and ways to add to their wages. The things that generate to the dues where the leaders can gain raises themselves. (Have you looked at the TWU International LM2’s the last few years particularly at the leaders salaries)

So NO it’s not all about dues but of course the Unions absolutely need dues (money) to survive. (So would your AMP idea)
