well, im not goin to debate you but i didnt see any "angry" employees. Everything was pretty seamless in ord. Certainly, not enuf to scare the company into giving us a pay raise.

So you’re saying everyone in ORD including Maintenance personnel that you don’t directly work with were happy, peppy and bursting with love? You don’t know the whole story how the raises were offered. Seriously you don’t.

And weren’t you still cooling your jets in the Bagroom in 2016?

well, i'm not looking to pick on you...i believe you played and still play the role of the bridge over troubled waters..trying to ease both airline groups into a synchronized harmony of happiness and striving/fighting for a common trophy. as far as merging, my main beef was the seniority angle.

my memory is fuzzy, but i'm sure i was earning more than $21/hr in 2011. i (we) went from $24+/hr to $19+/hr in 2003.

from 2003-2011, we only got $2 in hourly wages?

as far as going forward, aa can't cry poor to the mediator. i suppose they can and as long as aa drags this out, i will pray for binding arbitration in the end. an arbitrator can hurt us with scope, but he will rip open the company in regards to profit sharing. taking a can opener to a flimsy tin can.

the company's billions threatened. not for the shareholders or the top execs., but for the employees they show contempt towards.

is this what the company really wants? to save tens of millions, the chance of losing hundreds of millions?

Crema this is from a link to our CBA from TWU Local 502 prior to all the raises. Check out the 2012 rates.

And I found this dandy little link to the 2011 agreement that we almost voted on just before the Company filed Bankruptcy.

It just wasnt noticeable to me at all if it happened. Your opinion is as valid as mine. But, with certainty, it had nothing to do with our wages.

And here’s one that has the date September 12, 2012 on it. Those were the scales we would have lived under without the 20% ask being reduced to 17% and had we not received the wage increases in 2016 due in large (mainly) part to the merger with USAIRWAYS.

Separately neither of us would be making what we are today. There’s no denying that when you look at the success of the merged entity.

You do know that you’re not an IAM Member right?

Yep, and neither are you. Doesn’t change my post at all.

Not sure I like the Arbitrator idea when you have Delta Ramp with around 70% of their workforce at Ready Reserve and Part Time? I’d rather continue to be patient and wait for a mutually agreed to deal.

Dunno where you get your info from anymore, but 70% is waaaay off. It’s closer to 35-40%.

You can’t have both and opinion and say anything is a certainty.

Besides you are not Doug Parker who was at that meeting.

I’m still waiting for you to post on how the district by laws can be changed. Come on Timmy!!!The members want to know!!
I don't give a F@#k about bylaws or any of that chit Are you getting a raise before we have a contract

As I recall didn’t you say that the Ready Reserve Group was up to 40% with a stated goal of 50% and another 30% were Part Time benefitted Employees? That would equal 70% if true?

On the other comment it doesn’t matter I guess since IMO you will never be a member of the IAM at Delta ever again anyway. The wheels have been spinning on the ice for too long now.

Im going to bed. I never made any deal with you. Obviously, you arent going to tell us how much your salary is and how much it is going to be. End of story. Good night.
Tim is CB saying the IAM never found a way around,up or over or through their constitution?

i remember bringing this up; which airline workers financially benefited more from this merger and which workers will keep 'ancillary seniority' and this was the secret that lus posters and you kept under the rug. i remember, "we all benefited". that is true, but, it isn't exactly true, is it? some (minority) benefited more.

the us air guys in my station were going on about $20/hr while i was at $24+/hr and finally it was explained that lus in hubs were earning more than lus in stations.

kudos to all that kept silent but knew the truth.
No

lol. I have no idea what he was saying. Obviously he had a few drinks.
He did keep pivoting from the only question that mattered. He knows he is hosing you so he wont answer.
At any rate, it wont matter cuz few will get up at 6am.

Although it’s none of my business (Like my Local was none of yours) it doesn’t look to me as if they are hiding anything since the information is right there on the 141 website.

Shame, shame, shame to those who don’t chose to be informed.

I dont care if they are able, within their rights none of that chit. Im saying a salary incease and subsequent dues hike would be easier to swalllow once we had a industry leading contract
