You might as well go for it if you feel that strongly.My feeling is all unions are the same so I will ask you how many AMTS does WN have per aircraft and how many does AA have? No sarcasm what makes you feel AMFA will be any better than the Association? Believe me I am no fan of the ass but I see AMFA guys at WN struggling to get a contract too

Does not matter...Kick out our current association, and whomever is the new one will be told day 1, if they don't perform, they'll be replaced too...sooner or later we'll get solid representation....

I really hope you guys get your dream and kick the Association to the curb, even though I think that will not happen. However if by some meticulous alignment of the stars occurred. I would love to see you cursing them, when you go over 6 years to get a contract. Then I would ask you, what happen with your mechanics only union?

The majority of the members who chose to vote, voted no BUT the IBT passed the deal anyway???? Huh?????

The majority of the members who chose to vote, voted no BUT the IBT passed the deal anyway???? Huh?????

One thing for sure is that this is the lowest point for unions in the airlines. Thank you Teamsters. The Association is no angel. They will pull another fast one I'm sure in Mediation. They already forced themselves on the membership at AA and USAIR without a vote. That's just as bad as what the Teamsters just did at UPS. Did they really have a vote? Yes but it was just a formality. Very dissapointed.

Ok wait a minute. Just back up a little there buddy. They just had a vote for their Represented UPS AMT’s and so far they have honored that outcome.

On top of that they also honored the first 95% no vote over at UAL before the next one passed.

And this comment from the news item too “A separate deal covering UPS freight workers was rejected with significant turnout and can’t be ratified, the Teamsters said“

Yea. And people still say that if we still had the teamsters we would have a contract within the first 3 years. LMAO!
Of course we would. With everything farmed out in scope as that t was the #1 item the company was after for over 4 years of nego. Teamsters would have endorsed it and forced it to pass just like they just did over at UPS with the package handlers. So sad.
Here's what the teamsters just slammed down the throats of the package handlers evn though "THE MAJORITY VOTED NO!!!" the crooked teamsters strike again. Pathetic I tell you...
