Why isn’t he working on B6 and DL?

Seems the IAM campaigns at both are dead.

Josh
he is. Yes those campaigns are dead but the ALFCIO requires 2% spending on organizing. 2% of $185,000,000 mean that the iam has to spend about $4 million a year. They like dumping that in their most popular industries.
Actually, since my last campaign i started, they havent organized a soul.

Members Organized
2000-2008: 0
2009-2013 42,000 (nelson plans)
2013-209; 0

See a trend?

The extra $850,000 money needed will mean a $3 dues increase in 12 months since the $31,000 salary spikes would have to be paid.
Never mind the additional thousands to fund their pensions now.

Smart unionists become dues objectors. Keep your money in your own pocket instead of being made a fool.

Oil prices are likely to fall even further over the coming weeks, analysts told CNBC Tuesday, as a sharp sell-off in global equities combines with intensifying fears about a market that could soon to be awash with crude.

The latest wave of energy market selling comes amid reports of swelling inventories and forecasts of record U.S. and Russian output. Heightened worries of a possible economic slowdown in 2019 have also added downward pressure to the value of a barrel of oil.

"The only way is down," Tamas Varga, senior analyst at PVM Oil Associates, said in a research note published Tuesday.

After $151,000 salaries are affixed to the ramp union thugs, if the iam really ever did become serious at delta, the company would stick those salaries up the iam rectum. Im not convinced the iam is serious.

And as long as the idiots in charge of iam organizing (morons) continue to push the pension, that will also be certain death to an election

In January, if delta ramp really wants a union, the new union constitution will be filed and ready to go. Id sit down with your committee. Id let them know there may be casualties if successful but if everything is disclosed and you guys want a union that will finish the job then hit me up.
Warning: I have the utmost respect for Kip and it would be unlikely that id want to be involved with anything that goes against your delta organizing committe key members.

But from history, i can tell you that the iam isnt going to finish the job.

Cool, the next in line to take over the Cuckoo for "Cocoa Puffs" spokesbird, my favorite cereal. Hope the young fella makes it. Thanks for sharing...

ASSOCIATION NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
December 15, 2018

Brothers and Sisters,

THE TWU/IAM Association executive negotiating committee participated on a conference call conducted by National Mediation Board mediators yesterday, December 14, 2018. Negotiators from American Airlines also participated.

The mediators recapped the remaining open items to be negotiated. They also set the agenda and negotiating schedule for the beginning of 2019. The Association presented our objections to the Company’s proposal covering Field Trip Guidelines for M&R and MLS members and further discussion towards resolution will take place in SFO, as time permits.

The next face-to-face negotiations are scheduled for January 15-17 in San Francisco. Topics to be discussed are open economic pay elements, health & welfare (insurance), duration of the agreement, field trips and other open contract language items.

We were successful in obtaining additional negotiating dates on the calendar. Scheduled negotiating dates are:

January 15, 16, 17
January 29, 30, 31
February 6, 7, 8
February 12, 13, 14
And an additional week in March – specific dates to be determined

Our objective is to reach an agreement as soon as possible without having to use all of our scheduled dates. However, this Association is committed to achieving the compensation, healthcare, retirement and job security that our members have earned and deserve. Your continued support and solidarity are both appreciated and necessary to reach these goals.

We wish all of our members a safe and happy holiday season.

Fraternally,

Your Association Executive Negotiating Committee

Still surprised he is working narrowbodies. His old widebody gate D23 would be more downtime and less work. Plus a larger team to distribute the work.

Josh
with any new jcba im guessing weez will still maintain seniority to hold his position. Odd that he bid right next to nyer, its almost like he is stalking him.
Do you think weezle will step up and buy nyer a cup of coffee or will his handlers finally get weezle off the job after a jcba?

Sure, but you know as well as I do this thread will not stay on topic.
As far as the Association update is concerned, great, the more meetings the better. Now if they are fruitful which has yet to be seen, kudos. From whispers, comments and both sides wants, I don't see a mediator and 1000 meetings accomplishing too much. Fact is though, if they are not meeting there is zero chance of movement. If I'm being honest though, these discussion have been put me in a not really give a chit mode and I will let it play out however it plays out. As I mentioned a while back, I will vote up or down once something is put before me. I'm not here to try and influence anyone, don't care. You won't see me hammer the Association much anymore, it is what it is and most here know how I feel. One, three, five years before a JCBA, whatever, I don't control it.

Tim are they going to use this as the "form" update and simply change the dates of updates and negotiations for the next 5 years?

By the way W, I do disagree that retro is in the cards...at least two folks I have spoken with have stated the same.

Didn't take long to get back off topic, W...SMH
Any rebuke, W?

Don’t ask me why cause I think it’s kind of weird but once we went into mediation I started feeling the same way you do. I will say that I hope we’re finished with the blah, blah, blah tough guy updates now. Frankly I understand why they do them but I like to think we can be on a more professional level and not sound like we’re a bunch of thugs. One minute it’s tough guy update then the next one is hey we’re getting along fairly well. It’s emotionally draining sometimes.

On the retro of course nothing is guaranteed but our contracts did become amendable and I think it’s definitely owed to us. I don’t think I could see our Negotiators walking out without it IMO.

The mediators made it clear to sister peterson that he couldnt go bi polar on the company and claim progress but then after a few drinks of Tennessee Whiskey go nuts and toss in some conspiracy theory videos pounding the hell out of isom.

Look, Sister peterson may have been a 3 time management flunkie but his inconsistencies and bi polar had to be stopped.
So no more tin foil videos. I actually liked the videos other than the underwear one. At least he deleted it and removed the mirror.
