After $151,000 salaries are affixed to the ramp union thugs, if the iam really ever did become serious at delta, the company would stick those salaries up the iam rectum. Im not convinced the iam is serious.

And as long as the idiots in charge of iam organizing (morons) continue to push the pension, that will also be certain death to an election

In January, if delta ramp really wants a union, the new union constitution will be filed and ready to go. Id sit down with your committee. Id let them know there may be casualties if successful but if everything is disclosed and you guys want a union that will finish the job then hit me up.
Warning: I have the utmost respect for Kip and it would be unlikely that id want to be involved with anything that goes against your delta organizing committe key members.

But from history, i can tell you that the iam isnt going to finish the job.

Copy all that.

The IAM is hellbent on pushing the IAMNPF here, but forgets a good 35-40% of the ramp can’t fully participate in it. Just one example of people from the GL not being able to “read the room.”

well, then the iam isnt going anywhere and still isnt serious other than meeting afl quotas. Tommy Reagon is the worst person planning campaigns. He was in charge of the delta campaign since 2010.

Tim are they going to use this as the "form" update and simply change the dates of updates and negotiations for the next 5 years?
as far as negotiations, charlie was asked why he was worth another 25% salary hike ($31,000) unless he could deliver lus health care.
Charlie is rolling on the lus healthcare so why should lus workers get stripped of their healthcare with charlies recommendation but otoh charlie is recommending he get a 27% salary hike?
sad

How could they have the balls to try and justify a raise.I got to be careful what I wish for but at least a joint contract will get me out of the IAM

Tim we all know how 700 reminded people hundreds of times that the IAMNPF is on paper a separate entity of the IAM. Do you foresee the plan trustees and GL deciding to rebrand the plan at some point if it is seen as a hindrance to organizing efforts? Given all the fliers they put out about it for DL clearly they don't believe this, but I really wonder if both entities would do better if they did a rebrand. At the very least it would be an opportunity to spend money and have a bevy of planning and committee meetings reviewing proposals, new names, etc and give someone something to do.

with any new jcba im guessing weez will still maintain seniority to hold his position. Odd that he bid right next to nyer, its almost like he is stalking him.
Do you think weezle will step up and buy nyer a cup of coffee or will his handlers finally get weezle off the job after a jcba?

Weez was going to meet me at the airport a few years ago for Juan Valdez and said I had to pay but we never ultimately met. Weez probably needs to save money for repairs on his F.O.R.D. (Fixed or Repaired Daily). Weez should get a more reliable Toyota, heck I'd rather drive a 2003 Corolla with 200k miles on it than a brand new Ford product.

And Weez a 2003 Corolla would have been union built in Fremont, CA by NUMMI (GM+Toyota JV) that was UAW represented. Now Tesla occupies that facility (non-union) and Toyota has moved Corolla production to Mississippi (also non-union of course)

I guess Eagle and Condor don’t monitor Airline Forums any longer?

Can’t say I blame them for abandoning it if that’s what they did.

The pension is a knife against the masses. There are no negotiations, there is no leverage. Peterson and Garcia were set straight.

its going to be reckoning day. People dont listen and Peterson and baskett trashed our negotiations by giving the Cross Utilization without a jcba.
Peterson will henceforth lose mechanic scope. Guaranteed 100% and he has himself to blame.

Baskett lost catering when they refused to sign the fleet ta due to sacrificing fleet for mx. And his negotiation slip knocked lus health care out. 100%. The mediators mobilized them and made things clear.
They need to suck up their egos and let the people vote. No way out of their F up.
Baskett will get his big pay hike and good for him. Its bought for with lus health care. Sad

Didn't take long to get back off topic, W...SMH
Any rebuke, W?
exactly what is going on in negotiations to talk about? You want me to write the next update for you? Same ole. Nothing is going to change, the company already offered their last best offer.
The only significant thing in negotiations is the fact that the LUS AGC's want to rush in a salary increase vote prior to them dropping the bomb on all of the LUS members when they agree to the JCBA rolling over on their health care. Waiting on the salary vote after they hammer the LUS members health care will be a surefire NO vote. But they want to bag their 27% salary increase of $31,000 prior to hammering the health care in the JCBA.
Im not a prophet but I'll tell you want is going to happen because the LUS is so stupid. They members will vote for the salary increases, then have to pay $3 more in dues in January, 2020 to cover the $850,000 extra cost, and in return they are going to get that D up their LUS member butt and have to pay $6,500 more for insurance.

Can't say I enjoy being right all of the time but the membership is stupid as hell. Not that they have low IQ's but they are simply willingly ignorant.

Lets say we the membership were to see that offer .Then vote on it n turn it down how would both sides react then? 2nd why is it that members seem to "enjoy" being divided and conquered" when, despite differences, we ought to be standing together to get best deal possible. People keep forgetting mgmt is not the friend here. Their only looking out for themselves
