Growing yellow vest ranks movement to object to unvoted boss pay raises by being objectors... is the union becoming a union finally?

MK reminds me of the grasshopper in charge right before he understood the other bugs have numbers

Mike why did your boy RD get kicked out? Didnt you say he hand picked you for the job?

Still on the "Mike" stuff hunh? I hope the real Mike has C&D letters sent to you!

We are going to have a better Contract than United because our Negotiators are holding firm to make sure that’s a reality.

As far as thinking about more than just wages. I’m not the one desperately and exasperatingly pushing to have a vote now when SCOPE is not completed yet. That would be you screaming at the top of your lungs.

Tim from the language they had prior the agreement they struck was a dramatic improvement. 85% of that Membership accepted that it was also and passed it.

You will never learn to accept the will (decision) of the majority will you.

But we are not United and their story is not ours. Our (TWU) language for Part Time is very strong and I expect it to be strengthened when I read the accepted TA for us all.
It negotiated downward. United members had a better contract when they had their bankruptcy contract in 2012 still. Continental and united made billions and the iam negotiated "concessions for members". Same 28 stations and less scope. Got rid of all cargo after the 2013 contract for united but still represent the new contractors.

At any rate, no. We arent getting a better contract because we are holding out. We are getting a better contract than united because of delta.
We have no leverage since peterson gave up cross utilization. Therefore, our contracts are going to contain massive concessions, but the next one will be worse if we reject.

The United Airlines story like every other Airline story belongs to them. While yes those stories do effect us in the industry each Company is/ was their own unique business model where some survived and others didn’t.

Again on the last agreement which is all we need to even consider an inkling of a thought on, that Membership passed by 85% vs 15%

Can you take it over to a United thread where there is no voices since they have all since moved on with their accepted contracts?

At any rate, no. We arent getting a better contract because we are holding out. We are getting a better contract than united because of delta.

Of course we all will have better agreements by passing time through the process of continued negotiations. What kind of contract do you think we would have had we just accepted what the Company was offering on day one of the merger?

C’mon Tim I know you’re not as dumb as you pretend to be.

And of course Delta and United hold sway (considerations) in our talks. The Company bobble heads rarely fail to mention them in those townhall circuses.

“Massive Concessions”? If that’s true then why the hell do you want us to accept what you believe the Company is offering so badly?

BTW do you use a Crystal Ball or Tarot cards to make all your future predictions? Just curious.

My curiosity many times seems to get the better of my common sense when I talk to certain people but what the heck.

So Tim where do you think we are going to see “massive concessions”? Will these concessions be for ALL Fleet members or either one of the particular Union’s members?

Aren’t you also saying we’re losing (I forget) $18,000 per year or something like that?

Massive concessions? Where?

Al , I can’t seriously believe you think he’s Klemm based solely on what Tim says

Not hard to believe Rat... it's called deflection with a red herring. Tim and Co. are f-ing experts at this...

posters like cltrat continue to get conned by Mr Charlie. Well, when Mr Charlie ever decides to come back here, he will have to eat alot of crow. I hate being right all the time.

Happy New Year!!

First off, I find it very hard to believe that you would think after years of being on here and debating you as much as I have that I would have a problem being on here. I have been busy, and also have a family I need to spend time with. If you think that’s avoiding you or anything you spin? Then Ok.

Secondly, I’ll make a deal with you. If you’ll for once be honest with everyone that reads here, and tell them the truth on how the district by laws can actually be changed, then I will be glad to answer your questions about the by law change to increase district officers salaries.
You know that no district officer can just vote to change the district by laws. You also know that all full time district officers salaries are in those district by laws for the whole world to see, If they care to take the time and pull them up. District officers salaries are on the internet!! If you call that hiding the facts? Then again! Ok. Can’t argue with that mentality.
The district by laws are very specific on what must be done to change them. But for some reason you don’t want to mention that do ya now? I have said before, your a very knowledgeable person, you could be a asset to the members if you chose to be. But for some reason, you feel better spinning and deceiving the membership. Which you and I both know, you have done now for 30+ years. You post on here that after a jcba is done, you will be off here and done. Lmao, yea ok. I have said before, you have a problem. You constantly for some reason need attention. You will never be able to stay off here. But let me make it very clear. You and anyone that knows me, knows that I will never have a problem debating you. But it’s not going to be one sided the way you want it. Your going to admit all the deception you have planted. Hell I even remember a post on here when you responded to me that you didn’t care about being credible.
Only the ones that don’t do their job would have a issue with debating you. That’s not me.

No. Just No. You don't understand because you simply have not been educated about Labor, and its issues and how negotiations go. The United agreement will cost us our LUS health care. 100% guaranteed since we gave up our leverage, through the merger, by giving up cross utilization. You gloss over this because you have no idea how this benefitted the company. We might have had a chance to keep LUS insurance if we held back on the company bait of cross utilizations without finishing the JCBA.

And you have it backwards, the union did not "Hold out", it rolled over because the cross utilization deal was a 'dues grab' by the TWU. If the union did in fact hold firm like you said, then we would have already had a much better JCBA already.

And the union had a second chance when Uncle Jerry offered the same scope we have today, including CLT catering. But it was a take it or leave it, and Uncle Jerry made this clear. Sito F'd it all up and wanted to negotiate further, so Jerry (from what I heard) shook his head and laughed hysterically and pulled the offer and said you will never see this again. GAME OVER!

So, now, we either delay the last best offer and burn daylight and we lose $13,000 a year, or we accept the offer and send it to a vote. There really isn't any honor at this point in not bringing the last offer to the members.

No, your salary is not public, past 2017. What is your salary, presently? And what is it going to go up to? As far as all of your personal hoopla, I haven't the time for it. You win any debate, ok? You da champ! The question remains, what is your salary now, and what is it going to go up to if the bylaw is passed? Members wanna know.

No!! Like I said bro. You answer the questions also. As much as you have deceived this membership, you tell them how the by laws are changed, and that the district officers can’t change them. You tell everyone on here and I’ll answer your questions. Again, you may think you control things, but like I have said in the past! Your a legend in your own mind. Be honest for once, and tell the membership how the by laws are changed. I’ll wait!!!
Anyways, I can pull up a past post that you stated I was making 160,000 a year. Are you now stating that wasn’t true??
