I really do think the admission by biden live on National tv wash the nail in the coffen for all oil and gas states. Biden has now changed his mind 4 times dependant upon what state he was in at the time he was speaking. He is a flat out 2 faced liar about what he will or will not do. And you can easily tell he is being fed all the info he is speaking about from teleprompters and still can't get it correct and losses his thoughts and even what he was saying. He is a disaster for the Dems. No wonder why he went into hiding (basement) and NO WONDER why he doesn't as well as the entire DEms side, doesn't want him debating. Kamala Harris is just shaking her head in complete disbelief and embarrassment from Biden's fiasco hiccups and fumbles live on the air... Harris is just watching her administration going down the toilet. She now will not have the chance to have Biden removed as President for being unfit mentally so she can become President which is what the Dems want to happen. Biden (and he quite possibly don't know) will get set up by the dems, Pelosi and crews to be the fall guy so AOC and crews can get their minority first ever black woman as President. Biden is getting worse and worse every time he gets on live TV--period, it's great to watch it happen as they all deserve it. What comes around goes around folks. We will all Remember in November...

Biden is a liar? And, I suppose you are trusting Trump on his medical knowledge and advice--such as intravenous injections of bleach to kill the virus.
As far as what effect Biden will have on the oil industry...the answer is not one penny less revenue. I worked for a major oil company for a number of years. The amount of money that passes through the books of an average oil company in a month's time is absolutely staggering. You need not worry about any of the oil companies. I once created an accounting application for the domestic o&g operations. The VP of accounting told me "not to put too much time and effort into it. That area of accounting only handles about $120 million a month." (And that was just one domestic o&g company for one month! I can assure you that the fracking operations are not going to have to shut down. And, even if they did, the o&g companies already have a plan B or C or D in place to deal with the shut down by switching to another source of crude oil. The oil companies are more than aware of the damage their operations are doing to the environment. So there is always another operation they can get approved for "just in case" by their favorite Congressional lackey for a couple of a million dollars.

I will tell you something else Jim. The left railing against oil does not have a damn thing to do with pollution or the environment. They want to transition our energy usage from a globally traded commodity to a government regulated utility. It is about the government gaining 100% control over the energy sector. This is nothing more than a Democrat power grab. They have already tried to drive a wedge into healthcare.

How much control do you want to give the government?

This isn’t the point it’s the fact the US has the resources to be energy independent and we have done so under Trump.
If we go back to the Obama strategy and worse it will kill our economy

Airlines and politics are closely intertwined. The truth is, the WH’s absolute failure w/r/t COVID has had an outsized effect on our industry.
 
Biden ads claim he will create 18 million jobs. Pelosi is holding back on the cares act. This does not help the aviation sector. Pelosi and Biden are both democrats. Obviously they are not on the same path to job creation. Let's not even get into eliminating oil and natural gas from our daily life. So how much longer until common sense kicks in and the aviation sector starts to turn around?
