Yes, I see how the teamsters would view an accurate accounting of the failures at UAL "pestering" considering they seem to be selling the same snake oil now at American. LOL!

Hey you made it over here, this is one of the guys lurking around the American Airlines forum .... Guys PLEASE keep your Employee's on your own Forum, If you truly don't like the Teamsters then you have way more problems than AA because you have them & we don't & with AA track record of more than 50 years with the same Union more than likely we will never have any Union but the TWU but he is pretty worried about our well being ..... Anyway please welcome him back into the fold he feels left out now that his Panacea ... His Holy grail of Unions AMFA has been kicked out the door.

Ok gotta go back to my Own Airlines forum now.

Thank you ! 🙄

Raptor you talk about being professional but you really sound like a little boy that's off his meds

That's what happens to these deceivers when they get shot down with the truth. They don't know how to respond, so they ramble about nothing trying to divert attention away from the lies they just got caught telling. He is upset people with experience from the lies of the ibt are giving AA people some heads up, lol, poor little baby :-(.

Back to the thread, AMFA all the way. After this mess of a merger is done, the ibt here at UAL is done.

You are a funny guy. This is an open forum and anyone can post anywhere. When you get your own forum, you can dictate what is posted. Until then, get over it.

The UA M&R post on the AA forum to educate you about the IBT and the lies they told to get on the property and the inaction since then.

You will never see an IBT pension even though it's promised in the 'demo'.
After lil'Jimmy runs his trucks, makes his speech, hand out autographed pictures, you will never see him again.
Once you get the IBT, information flow will immediately halt.
Funny I didn't see you jump on anomaly when he posted, but then again, he hasn't posted since you showed up.
B) xUT

I didn't say he couldn't post on AA forum I said I don't know why he would want to & we get that some United Mechanics screwed up & threw AMFA out so there is no sense in beating a dead horse we get it already now get over it & stop whining about it & move on, I don't know who anomaly is nor do I care if he works for United & not AA I would have commented on him as well, Like I said you don't like the Teamsters I GET IT ALREADY and so does everyone else, I personally don't care what United Employee's think because you are AA competition which means were not on the same side regardless of what your position is on anything your competition period.

Wow! That last statement says it all. This is something AMFA wants to fix. We are all Aircraft Mechanics and we all should be concerned what happens at other airlines and support our brothers there. We have already heard it from our management team here at UAL that since AA has filed BK we will likely not get a raise in our next contract. Now since the company made that remark I suspect our union the ibt will echo those same words since they are a company union. So, yes you should be concerned what happens at other airlines and support your fellow mechanics. GT

Good point.

Hey, you forgot to mension us SWA mechs, ALK mechs, Horizon and many other airline mechanics. And just for your pleasure reading here is a good example of the differences between AMFA and ibt, happy reading:

Here's an excellent comparo for AMFA and ibt:

I just recieved my ballot for "National Officer Election-2012"
We as members will say who will be our National Officers.
All positions are voted upon as long as there are opposed runners for the election.
For Ex: Our National Directors posision will continue as is, as nobody put in for it.
Our Region 1 Director will also remain the same.
Assistant National Director, National Secretary/Treasurer, National Safety & Standards Director, and
Region II Director will all be up for grabs in this years elections.

I leave you with one question; CAN YOU DO THIS WITH YOUR CURRENT UNION??? TWU or the ibt??? Hell no, you cannot. Have a say in who runs your union guys. Can you remove an officer (as a membership)? Hell no you cannot. Take control of your union guys bring in AMFA, and put who YOU want in control. If the membership does not like who is running it recall them, it's that easy. No other union allows for this kind of membership control of their union.
The above example is only one, we are currently also voting on our constitutional changes, by-laws and so on. CAN YOU DO THIS WITH YOUR CURRENT UNION??? NO you cannot...

Priceless!

That was one long sentence..

Can any of the UAL/CAL mechnics shed light on how the intergration of the two companies is being delt with by the IBT. In your opinion is the IBT being fair towards all or are they simply going to place the CAL amt's at the bottom?

Have the Teamsters kept the promises they made when attempting to get into Both companies?

Once the seniority issue is finalized will the Attempt to replace the IBT start?

YOU have had the IAM/AMFA/IBT which of them do you feel is best for our trade?

The ibt at UAL has zero credibility. Talking to several individuals in the different "committees" it appears the ibt is leaning favorably to the S-CAL guys. Don't get me wrong, I welcome the S-CAL guys with open arms and the more they get the better.

As far as the process? It's slow and there seems to not be any leadership to expedite the process. It appears the ibt are dragging their feet in the whole amalgamation process.

No, the ibt has not kept their promises they made when campaigning at UAL. I suggest you go to The-AMT.com site and go to the United Airlines forum and look in the video section and view "The Angry Clown" videos. That should enlighten you.

The attempt to replace the ibt is on going. If you want to be involved I can hook you up.

The best union? AMFA by far.

GT.

Your in Denver if I am not mistaken, I heard mention of you from pitbull in AFW.

Question? Did IBT promise UAL a local and if so did they deliver?
Is it seperate from all the other IBT workers (non airline)

If there are locals are the officers there UAL employees?

Are the local shop stewards informed and do they get support from Local?

CAL-UAL are both IBT, are they going to dove tail or has the IBT promised and made daels?

Have they started the transition of work rules and who do they favor since I assume contracts are different?

CAL or UAL becomes ammenable first? Did IBT open up either since merger?
