Currently, the DJIA is down 0.69% (less than 1%). AMR stock is down 18.07% (it's actually dropped another penny/shr to $2.42 while I was typing this). Since it is already down over $0.50/shr just since the opening this morning, will it drop below $2/shr by the end of the day? I think that investors are beginning to lose confidence in AMR.

At 12:54pm EDT, real-tiime trade, $2.27/shr, down 23.47%. BRACE! BRACE! HEADS DOWN! STAY DOWN!

(Correction: At 12:58pm, $2.14/shr, down 27.70%. I can't type fast enough to keep up with the drop.)

I'm sure bob's really talking it up this week with AA . I guess I should stop paying my mortgage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The future is uncertain,But the end is always near!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Minor correction: Serious investors began to lose confidence in AMR in early 2007 when it peaked at $41/sh and began its decline to today's level.

The recent plummet reflects the loss of confidence among gamblers and speculators.

Looks as if I may be a prophet. At 1:09EDT, the stock is now at $2.03/shr.
It appeared to be stuck at $2.05 (live trades/brokerage) - volume didn't move for a while.

At least the SOBs in Centrepork won't get a good payday (honestly) unless the board decides to reward them for good work, near and below the call of duty.

1210 CDT - $1.83 and it appears stopped again.

1220 CDT - Put in an order for $4000 @ $.25 for grins and giggles.

CNBC says AMR in trouble, may have to restructure ..... report on TV to run shortly?

Stock is being halted multiple amount of times. This certainly isn't looking good for AA's stock.

Now lets see what the "we want back what we gave up in 2003" has in store.

BK is a must at this point with no good economic growth for years to come. BK is the only thing that will allow them to get Contracts and Pensions right sized for the new reality.

The SOBs shouldn't have lied to us to begin with - their only reason to do so was simply because they could do so with impunity.

Now - if there is, in fact, a restructuring to take place, we workers understand it won't be pretty for us BUT - this time, even though they'll have an infinitely easier go of it, the Centrepork infestation won't escape unscathed as before.

The logic, Jake, is that even though they get US, THEY go down also. I'm sure you don't understand that - get your boss another cup of coffee, will ya?
