Tariffs

But maybe KC doesn’t mind the risk of some illegal or non english speakers running him under their wheels?
I was hit by a car driven by a fully legal, fully American citizen. Oh yeah...as far as costing to much - pre tariff some of those bikes were $15,000

So where is Bernie now? Trump is taxing the Billionaires. This is exactly what Sanders and Warren wanted. This kinda blows there talking point out the window.

Via Euronews: Europe to halt postal services to US after tax deal scrapped

Several European countries will be halting their postal services to the US after US President Donald Trump scapped a tax exemption on low-import goods worth less than $800 (€682) last month.

The White House said it is aiming to combat illegal and abusive practices, such as the importation of illegal drugs into the United States.

Letters and small parcels under $100 (€85) will not be affected.

This report from CNBC (Not an X post) contains a lot of information on multiple products. Some of the information ℹ️ agrees with KC that some prices are rising and others are a mixed bag of who’s eating the costs.

Personally on Croks I’ve always thought that’s a weird fad and eventually all fads run their course. (Beenie Baby’s, Cabbage patch kids, etc)

“KEY POINTS
Consumer spending has largely stayed strong so far and the pinch from higher duties hasn’t been as severe as some companies had feared.
Scot Ciccarelli, a retail analyst for Truist, said retailers are raising prices “but not nearly to the degree that might have been expected in early April.”
Yet Walmart said it’s seen price sensitivity with some lower-income shoppers and Crocs reduced orders for the back half of the year”
